Ladders is seeking a Director of Budget, Financial Reporting & Analysis to lead budgeting, financial reporting, and analytics for a complex higher education environment in a remote US-based role.

You will partner with executive leadership, auditors, and state stakeholders to support decision-making, resource allocation, and financial accountability while guiding a team responsible for accurate reporting and planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Six years of experience in financial reporting and general ledger reporting.
• Five years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Arkansas Administrative Statewide Information System (AASIS).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other software programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial reporting and analysis function for the organization.
• Prepare and review financial reports for leadership decision-making.
• Analyze financial information and perform advanced financial research.
• Oversee budget and financial planning operations and resource allocation.
• Serve as liaison with the State of Arkansas regarding finance matters.
• Supervise financial reporting, planning, and analysis staff, ensuring high-quality output.
• Collaborate with auditors to provide necessary data and explanations.
