Job summary

Generation UK & Ireland seeks a Junior Digital Marketer Teaching Assistant to support the online Junior Digital Marketer training. The role is remote for six months, with potential extension based on funding and performance.

The successful candidate will assist instructors, foster learner participation, and help with assessments while developing digital literacy and career readiness skills among adult learners.

Qualifications

• At least a year of experience in Digital Marketing and facilitation preferably for adults, with some online delivery experience
• Facilitation skills, energy, communication, learner-centered approach

Responsibilities

• Assist facilitation of the Junior Digital Marketer training online based on existing content.
• Support training delivery to an adult audience under supervision of lead instructors.
• Become familiar with and follow the course as designed by Generation.
• Ensure involvement and active participation of learners in the training program.
• Support in grading learners’ assessments.
• Build strong relationships with learners and create a caring learning environment.
• Motivate learners to be resilient in professional and personal journeys.
• Participate in cohort launch organization and onboarding before cohort launch.
• Take part in coaching cycles and professional development activities.
• Engage in peer reviews or instructional observations to foster continuous improvement.
• Maintain a reflective teaching journal.
• Support learners with digital literacy challenges.
• Maintain relevant certifications and pursue ongoing professional development (MOOCs, webinars).
• Integrate career readiness skills into instruction and help learners build professional portfolios with the Employability Coach.
• Apply inclusive teaching practices and safeguard learners as per organizational protocols.
