Job summary

Consilio LLC in the United States is seeking a DFES Consultant to lead, conduct, and assist in data preservation and digital investigations in complex litigation, leveraging Encase, FTK, Axiom, and Cellebrite to collect and manage ESI from diverse sources.

You will work with clients and colleagues to plan investigations, perform forensic analysis across devices and networks, document findings in expert reports, and travel for on-site data collections as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in forensic computing or equivalent relevant experience.
• 1–3 years of progressively responsible experience in related roles.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Proficient in forensic acquisition tools and handling diverse file formats.
• Knowledge of evidence rules, ACPO guidelines, ISO17025, and Chain of Custody.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute data preservation using legally defensible solutions.
• Perform forensic analysis on devices, storage media, servers, networks, and cloud services.
• Restore and convert data for processing and hosting.
• Conduct investigations using EnCase, FTK, Axiom, and Cellebrite.
• Prepare expert reports and witness documentation.
• Present complex technical findings to non-technical clients.
