Job summary

Raytheon’s Digital Technology Architecture team is seeking a skilled Digital Technology Architect - Applications and Solutions to lead architecture across SAFe and TOGAF frameworks. This remote, US-based role collaborates with enterprise and solution architects to deliver secure, scalable applications.

Responsibilities include creating solution and portfolio architectures with Cameo and ArchiMate, guiding agile teams, mentoring staff, and driving modernization while aligning with DoDAF and RTX

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' experience
• Experience leading and implementing technology transformation initiatives
• Experience architecting, designing, integrating, and deploying enterprise-grade applications
• Experience deploying and hosting applications with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud providers
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Creating and owing solution and portfolio architectures using TOGAF Architecture Development Method with Cameo and ArchiMate
• Participate in SAFe Agile Release Train teams in Architect role
• Provide technical leadership to agile development teams to ensure architecture is realized and standards followed
• Lead technical and design discussions with business teams and executives to align on requirements
• Mentor front-line technical staff to elevate architectural capabilities and prepare them to become solution architects
• Support application portfolio modernization and optimize processes across teams
• Partner with infrastructure, networking, and cloud teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and security
