Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a remote role focused on nutrition assessment, education, and care planning through telehealth visits. You will work with an interdisciplinary team, manage workload, and contribute to program initiatives while supporting plan members’ health goals.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of RD experience in inpatient/outpatient/clinic or wellness settings and can thrive in a flexible, virtual care environment while residing in AZ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or equivalent coursework.
• Must be a Registered Dietitian or RD eligible; RD credential within 6 months of hire.
• Master’s degree may be preferred; maintain RD licensure as required by State law.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nutrition assessments and nutrition-focused exams.
• Develop and manage nutrition care plans and monitor outcomes.
• Educate patients and families with evidence-based nutrition education.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses and pharmacists.
• Lead and mentor staff; participate in quality improvement activities.
• Develop nutrition education materials and participate in program initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation in medical records; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide patient care guidance independently and support nutrition services staff.
