Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a talented Conversational AI Engineer to design, develop, and maintain chatbots powered by Google Dialogflow in a fully remote role based in the USA. You will own the lifecycle from concept to deployment and optimization, collaborating with design, product, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities include building dialog flows, integrating with APIs, improving NLU, and ensuring scalable, context-aware conversations.

Qualifications

• At least 4–5 years of IT experience.
• GCP Certification is mandatory.
• Proven experience designing and developing conversational user interfaces (CUIs) or chatbots.
• Expertise in Google Dialogflow, including intents, entities, dialog flows, and fulfillment.
• Experience with NLP concepts is a plus.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging conversational flows using Google Dialogflow for various applications and platforms.
• Develop, test, and deploy robust conversational agents that meet user needs and project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate chatbots into existing systems and applications.
• Continuously improve NLU and performance of conversational agents through customization and optimization techniques.
• Implement context-aware conversations and design flows that handle complex user queries.
• Integrate Dialogflow with external systems, APIs, and databases to enhance chatbot functionality.
• Analyze user interaction data to identify opportunities to improve the user experience.
• Stay up-to-date on advancements in conversational AI and Dialogflow.
