Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support a federal client with a remote work arrangement and a Secret clearance requirement.

You will design and automate CI/CD pipelines, secure Kubernetes environments per DISA STIG, and drive security-focused automation across the delivery lifecycle, including AI-assisted tooling and evidence generation for ATO processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; 7+ years of relevant experience in DevSecOps/DevOps.
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI; experience with additional pipeline tools a plus.
• Experience with Kubernetes administration and hardening in DoD or compliance-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines across development, security scanning, compliance validation, and deployment to DoD environments.
• Build and maintain hardened Kubernetes environments aligned to DISA STIG requirements across cloud and restricted networks.
• Automate security artifact generation including SBOM, CVE scanning, and continuous compliance validation.
• Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code, GitOps practices, and controls-as-code across the team.
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate pipeline development, vulnerability triage, compliance remediation, and documentation.
