Job summary

Kiratech is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our agile team. You will design and maintain infrastructure, improve automation, and ensure scalable, secure deployments across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

The role emphasizes collaboration with development teams, on-call support, and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment. A strong focus on IaC, monitoring, and security is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and processes required for deployment and operation of applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain IaC for cloud provisioning (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Deploy, scale, and orchestrate containerized apps using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Implement monitoring/logging systems to ensure health of apps and infra.
• Troubleshoot performance and security issues; support disaster recovery and backups.
• Participate in on-call rotation for 24x7 availability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation (diagrams, runbooks, SOPs).
• Provide internal IT support, including Microsoft O365 management.
