Job summary

XPO IT is seeking a junior Software Engineer in Portland, OR to assist in a full software development life cycle using Agile methods. You will learn testing, support release management, and collaborate with partners to design solutions.

The role includes onboarding to modern frameworks and hands-on work with Java, Python, and cloud technologies. Eligible for telecommuting from home within reasonable commuting distance from Portland, OR, with required in-office presence several days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or related IT field.
• One year of post-bachelor’s experience as Software Engineer or related occupation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the SDLC with Agile techniques to deliver solutions.
• Learn testing methodologies for manual and automated testing scenarios.
• Support Release Management and collaborate with business partners and technology teams.
