Job summary

TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage Linux/Windows servers, OpenShift projects, and non-production environments. You will mentor others and lead platform hardening and remediation.

Requirements include 2+ years in SysAdmin/DevOps, 5+ years with CI/CD and IaC, and 10+ years in DevOps on federal systems. Remote USA work is supported with a comprehensive benefits plan.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in systems administration or DevOps.
• 5+ years, including CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
• 10+ years, including 5+ years leading DevOps on federal systems (Senior/Level III).
• Linux/Windows administration; GitHub Actions, GitLab or Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins).
• Administer Linux/Windows servers, OpenShift projects and non-production environments.
• Run configuration management and manage branching, tagging, versioning.
• Administer Jira, Confluence and GitHub for the program.
• Support application monitoring and alerting, patching and after-hours deployment Windows.
• SME: design platform standards, lead hardening and vulnerability-scan remediation, and mentor others.
