Job summary

Buyers Edge Platform seeks a DevOps Engineer to improve hosted infrastructure and internal apps powering the business. You will design tooling to reduce complexity, empower developers, and drive productivity across teams.

You will implement infrastructure as code, containerize apps, and collaborate with CI/CD, security, and SRE practices to ensure scalable, resilient systems. Remote- Waltham presence may be required.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in CS or equivalent
• 2 years DevOps experience
• 3 years Software Engineering experience
• 2 years AWS experience
• Production Kubernetes experience
• Experience with CI/CD tools (CircleCI/Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab)
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible/Puppet/Chef)
• Strong knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation
• GIT and monitoring tools experience
• MySQL/Aurora/Redshift exposure

Responsibilities

• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines across multiple software products
• Collaborate with development teams to align goals and deliverables
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
• Implement infrastructure as code for development environments
• Containerize applications for deployment resilience
• Coordinate with Dev, QA to streamline workflows
• Ensure scalable and disaster-recoverable infrastructure
• Respond promptly to service issues and requests
• Apply security benchmarking practices
• Manage development resources and access controls
• Occasional after-hours work
• Develop internal tooling to improve efficiency

Education

Four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Information Security or equivalent
