Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience in full stack, backend, DevOps, or cloud systems roles.
• Proficiency with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React.js or similar frontend framework.
• Experience designing and building backend services, RESTful APIs, integrations, and service-based systems.
• Intermediate hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, EC2, S3, CloudWatch).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git workflows.
• Strong database experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB.
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Redis, microservices, serverless architectures, GraphQL, real-time messaging.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as New Relic, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Understanding of Linux, networking, security, and cloud security best practices.
• Exposure to Jira Service Management workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack apps, backend services, APIs, and internal tools.
• Write clean, maintainable code using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Go as needed.
• Build frontend or internal tooling with React.js or equivalent frameworks.
• Develop RESTful APIs, integrations, and service-to-service communication.
• Create automation scripts and internal tools to improve deployments and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable releases.
• Configure and manage AWS services (ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, EC2, S3, CloudWatch).
• Optimize databases (PostgreSQL, Aurora).
• Use RabbitMQ or similar for inter-service messaging.
• Containerize with Docker, deploy via Kubernetes/EKS.
• Utilize Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC.
• Implement observability with New Relic, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and development teams on secure, scalable releases.
• Support production troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Use AI tools for coding, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.
