Job summary

KI seeks a Design and Sales Coordinator to support its Mid Atlantic sales team. The fully remote role assists KI designers, sales reps, dealers, architects, and customers in obtaining product specifications.

Ideal candidates reside in Maryland or DC Metro area with coverage across MD, DC, and Northern VA, and rare travel to Richmond. Responsibilities include space planning, design assistance, converting designs to quotes, sample processing, event coordination, and design center operations.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, drafting, interior design, architectural design, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license.
• A professional design credential is strongly recommended.
• Auto CAD/CET proficiency, rendering skills, spatial awareness, and reading 2D prints / understanding 3D geometry.
• Microsoft Office and Salesforce knowledge is preferred.
• Strong organization, time management, communication, customer service, technology, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Space planning and design assistance, converting designs to quotes, finish sample processing.
• Product sample management and design center operations.
• Sales meeting coordination and support for designers, reps, dealers, and customers.
• Provide responsive communication and accurate follow-through throughout the sales cycle.
