Job summary

Bob’s Discount Furniture is seeking a Demand Planner to develop and maintain weekly, monthly, and seasonal demand forecasts, partnering with Merchandising, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to align demand with inventory and financial targets.

You will drive forecast accuracy, analyze trends, and leverage Power BI and ERP systems to deliver actionable insights in a remote-friendly environment with collaborative teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or inventory planning.
• Experience with forecasting tools, data analysis, and reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with large data sets.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain top-down and bottom-up demand forecasts across weekly, monthly, and seasonal horizons.
• Analyze historical sales, trends, demand drivers, and regional performance to identify risks and opportunities.
• Perform in-season reforecasting and monitor forecast accuracy.
• Support alignment of demand forecasts with sales, margins, inventory, and financial targets.
