Qualifications

• Active DE and VA underwriting certification required.
• Must have used DE and VA designation within the last 11 months.
• Minimum 5 years of residential mortgage underwriting experience.
• Strong FHA, VA, Conventional, Non-QM, and Jumbo product knowledge.
• Experience with Encompass strongly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze borrower financials, credit reports, and property appraisals to determine eligibility.

Our client is seeking a strong DE/VA Underwriter with 203k experience to join their team. An Active VA LAPP/SAR is required for consideration and candidates must reside in Central, Mountain or Eastern Time Zones.

They are all seeking a collaborative underwriter who thrives on engaging with the origination team and is comfortable picking up the phone to ensure clear communication and accurate loan decisions.

Responsibilities

Salary: $85,000 – $105,000 per year
