Job summary

Greystar seeks a DataOps Engineer to join the Data Marketplace team, owning AI‑driven observability and scalable Azure‑based pipelines. You’ll work primarily in Databricks with Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog, and Jobs, while collaborating with Azure data services for ingestion, monitoring, and cost governance.

You will implement AI‑powered diagnostics, surface data quality issues, and lead CI/CD releases using GitHub Enterprise.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DataOps, data engineering, or platform engineering in production.
• Deep hands-on Databricks experience: DLT, Jobs/Workflows, Unity Catalog.
• Strong command of Azure data services: ADF, ADLS Gen2, Monitor, Key Vault.
• Experience with AI-enabled DataOps tooling and observability.
• CI/CD with GitHub Enterprise for data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own AI‑driven data observability and pipeline diagnostics.
• Build agentic monitoring for data quality, drift, and anomalies.
• Integrate AI tooling (Mosaic AI, Genie, OpenAI) into DataOps processes.
• Develop AI-assisted root cause analysis to reduce MTTR.
• Lead deployment across dev/stage/prod with GitHub Enterprise & Linear.
