Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER NAS division seeks a Field Project Manager for a remote role within 50 miles of an Eaton office west of the Mississippi. You will lead end-to-end engineered-to-order datacenter projects, coordinating customers, sales, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery and profitability.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, managing changes to BOMs, and mentoring other project managers to build capability in engineered products and applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum 5 years electrical industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years project management experience.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
• Relocation not available; must reside within 50 miles of an Eaton facility west of the Mississippi River.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of complex engineered-to-order datacenter projects, ensuring schedule adherence and customer satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers, sales, engineering, and manufacturing to manage configuration, documentation, changes, and warranty resolution.
• Review drawings, specifications, and designs; manage changes to bills of material and ensure alignment with Eaton requirements.
• Drive project profitability by optimizing resources and prioritizing actions based on cost and impact.
• Coordinate centralized resources to develop and deliver complete project documentation and deliverables.
• Act as customer advocate by communicating urgency and escalating risks with stakeholders.
• Identify process improvements and deploy new initiatives based on customer and market trends.
• Manage projects across multiple U.S. time zones to ensure timely, high-quality solutions.
• Mentor and train less experienced project managers to build capability in engineered products and applications.
