Job summary

Changeis, Inc. is seeking an experienced Databricks Administrator to manage and secure our enterprise Databricks environment in a remote capacity within the United States.

You will work with data engineers, security teams, and cloud infra teams to keep the platform reliable, scalable, and cost-effective. The role requires hands-on experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, IAM, CI/CD, and IaC, plus strong scripting skills in Python or SQL.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of experience in cloud data platforms, data engineering infrastructure, or platform administration.
• Hands-on Databricks administration in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with Unity Catalog, access controls, identity management, service principals, secrets, and data governance.
• Proficiency with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Databricks workspaces, clusters, jobs, notebooks, pools, SQL warehouses, and related platform services.
• Configure and manage user accounts, groups, roles, permissions, service principals, and access controls.
• Monitor platform availability, cluster performance, job execution, resource utilization, and system health.
• Implement and maintain security standards using Unity Catalog, RBAC, credential management, and data governance policies.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, developers, security teams, and cloud infrastructure teams.
