Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Database Analyst Programmer to support the ERDC contract in Vicksburg, MS. You will maintain a data warehouse, develop data marts, and ensure data accuracy in Oracle with WebFOCUS reporting. Remote work is offered while serving federal project needs.

The role requires 10+ years in computer science, Security+ readiness, TOAD and Power BI expertise, and strong communication to coordinate with senior staff and RM users.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field; 10+ years of experience.
• CompTIA Security+ certification may be required.
• Experience with TOAD and Power BI.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Reviews data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy.
• Supports design, development, and maintenance of enterprise data warehouse and data marts.
• Troubleshoots and tunes data warehouse applications.
• Establishes development standards and enterprise model integration.
• Develops database solutions and administration tools.
• Collaborates with senior staff to complete projects.
• Creates reports to track and manage funds by projects.
• Diagnoses data vs application errors using TOAD/WebFOCUS logs.
• May provide work leadership for junior staff.
