Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand data reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications and data models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand diverse data needs.
• Communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders for actionable insights.
• Create detailed reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or other reporting tools.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations tailored to business objectives.
• Write, review, and optimize SQL code for data retrieval and processing.
• Improve query performance by examining execution plans and indexing.
• Reverse engineer existing data models for optimization.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and correlations.
• Use statistical tools to interpret data and drive decisions.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes for data warehouses.
• Ensure ETL processes are efficient, reliable, and scalable and monitor workflows.
• Stay up to date with industry trends in data analysis and big data.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
• Automate data validation and quality checks to ensure data accuracy.
