Job summary

North Carolina A&T State University is seeking an RCMI Research Capacity Core Data Specialist to support data management, study design, and statistical analysis for NIH-funded health disparities research. The role collaborates with Center leadership, investigators, and community partners to ensure compliant, analysis-ready data.

The ideal candidate will contribute to interdisciplinary brain health and cardiometabolic disease research, manage project tracking, and help advance the Center's

Qualifications

• Master's degree in biostatistics, statistics, data science, epidemiology, public health, health informatics, computer science, or closely related field; 3+ years in data management or analytics.
• Experience in research data management, statistical analysis, and health research analytics.
• Experience with database support and data stewardship; knowledge of NIH/university regulatory requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support RCC data management, design, and documentation for research studies.
• Perform statistical analyses and prepare analysis-ready datasets.
• Track projects, maintain documentation, and coordinate communications with investigators.
• Ensure compliance with NIH, university policies, and regulatory requirements.
