Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Data Scientist to turn large structured and unstructured data into actionable insights. You’ll work with clients across private and public sectors to solve complex problems using Python or R, AWS, ETL pipelines, and ML methods.

You’ll collaborate with teams to develop algorithms, automate analytics, and integrate OSS or COTS solutions while ensuring security clearances are in place for mission-critical work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience using data science programming languages such as Python or R
• 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services ( AWS )
• Experience creating ETL pipelines, including querying APIs, cleaning and conditioning data, and creating schemas for data storage
• Experience with version control tools, including git, GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket
• Experience with statistical analysis, predictive modeling, or machine learning methods
• Ability to design and develop automated analytic software, techniques, and algorithms
• Ability to develop solutions and integrate and extend free and open-source software (FOSS) or COTS products
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in data science, or 7+ years of experience in data science in lieu of a degree
