Job summary

Responsibilities include leading end-to-end quantitative analyses, maintaining datasets, reviewing junior staff code, and translating technical findings for clients and stakeholders. The position supports remote work within the United States.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in a quantitative field, with coursework in causal inference and statistical modeling.
• Experience with complex survey data and large-scale datasets.
• Experience applying quantitative methods to education, health, or social policy questions.
• Experience or familiarity with machine learning and AI methods, including large language models.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain shared analytic tools, including code libraries, project templates, and pipelines.
• Write documentation, training materials, and onboarding guides for staff with varying technical levels.
• Prototype and test new tools and platforms, including ML/AI apps like large language models.
• Help maintain deployed tools by triaging issues and tracking feedback.
• Lead quantitative analyses on research and evaluation projects, including causal and non-causal questions.
• Draft analytic sections of client reports and translate findings for non-technical audiences.
