Job summary

Adidev Technologies Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist/Data Science Specialist with 1–2 years of experience to join a growing team. You will enhance and debug large-scale applications for a major client, applying ML, DL, NLP, and CV techniques.

You will work in a cloud environment using Python, SQL, and modern data tools, contributing to data pipelines, model deployment, and insights delivery. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding of a range of ML algorithms (SVM, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, etc.).
• Regression and Classification knowledge (linear/logistic/multivariate).
• Dimension reduction and optimization techniques.
• Experience with neural networks for text classification (CNN, RNN, LSTM).
• Distributed computing and cloud (AWS).
• 2+ years of relevant Data Science experience.
• PhD/MS/BS in CS/EE/Math/Stats or related field.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated ML/ DL, statistical methods, and simulation/optimization for geospatial, topography, recommendations, environmental or agronomic problems.
• Strong Python skills in a cloud environment.
• Extract, load and transform data (ETL) from structured and unstructured sources.
• Apply NLP and Computer Vision to business use cases.
• Modeling, data wrangling, visualization, and communicating results.
• Knowledge of data pipelines and tooling (NumPy, Pandas, SciKit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Deploy pipelines via cloud platforms, including Kubernetes.
• Collaborate effectively in a team setting.
