Job summary

Bold Penguin, a premier digital broker for commercial insurance, seeks a data scientist for remote work to advance optimization, RAG and AI-driven workflows.

You'll design and deploy models with Python, AWS SageMaker, and Bedrock, collaborating across product and engineering to deliver scalable solutions for complex risks.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in data science, strong quantitative skills, and a passion for financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
• 3–5 years of Data Scientist experience in Financial Services, FinTech, or risk analytics.
• Proven experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, and agentic orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Develop optimization models for resource allocation and market placement.
• Build RAG pipelines and manage vector databases for real-time intelligence.
• Design multi-agent systems and orchestration layers for financial workflows.
• Assess model performance using advanced statistics for high-stakes scenarios.
• Deploy ML models on AWS SageMaker and Bedrock at scale.
