SOSi seeks a Data Scientist to advance a scalable, federated data ecosystem for a DoD client. You will develop predictive models, perform AI-driven analytics, and drive improvements through Agile sprints in a fully remote setting.

Requirements include a data-science degree or equivalent ML experience, strong Python/R/SQL skills, and experience with AWS SageMaker or Azure ML. The role emphasizes governance, interoperability, and mission-focused analytics.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in data-related field or seven years ML experience.
• Ability to develop and refine predictive models and analyze large datasets.
• Experience with data mining, statistical modeling, and AI forecasting.
• Knowledge of data visualization, feature selection, and geospatial analytics.
• Experience with Python, R, SQL and data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).
• Experience with cloud AI/ML tools like AWS SageMaker or Azure ML; integrate models into workflows.

Mansioni

• Develop and refine predictive models and generate AI-driven insights to enhance intelligence and operational planning.
• Integrate customer feedback into model iteration cycles within Agile development.
• Submit the Predictive Model Performance Report with key metrics and impact.
• Implement sprint-based Agile methodologies with backlog grooming.
• Provide a ROM Estimate Report detailing FTE hours, compute costs, storage, and infra.
• Conduct quarterly reviews to track cost efficiency and optimize analytic workflows.
