Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Data Scientist, Mid, to unlock insights from large data sets across IoT, ML, and AI. You will build advanced analytics, collaborate with clients, and develop algorithms that turn complex data into actionable decisions for national security and other sectors.

You’ll work with a team that translates technical findings into visual, written, and verbal narratives to inform leadership and drive strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience correlating complex technical findings into narrative products.
• Experience building advanced analytics and AI/ML models, including data retrieval and cleaning, modeling, evaluation and visualization.
• Experience working on classified networks in support of DoW or IC clients.
• Ability to visualize complex data and concepts for non-technical leadership, highlighting system risks and go/no-go criteria.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant techniques or 7+ years of experience in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms and systems to turn data points into objective answers for clients.
• Work with clients to understand questions and extract needs from data-rich environments.
• Create real-world impact through data science methods, ML, and AI tooling, including LLMs or agentic AI.
• Translate findings into visuals and narratives for executive audiences.
