Job summary

Acxiom is seeking an MBA candidate for a part-time internship on the Automotive team to apply marketing analytics, data science, and visualization to real-world customer insights. The role emphasizes data-driven storytelling using Acxiom data and partner data to build and test high-value audiences and models.

The intern will collaborate with data scientists and account teams, work on production-ready insights, and gain exposure to Google Cloud Platform, Tableau, Looker and analytics tooling.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a graduate degree (MBA or similar) with focus on marketing analytics, data science and visualization.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software is a plus.
• Basic to moderate SQL experience to model and identify patterns.

Responsibilities

• Leverage education and experience in data visualization to support data-driven storytelling initiatives across the tower focusing on GM as a first priority.
• Leverage Acxiom’s data and data available through established partnerships with brands to develop opportunities for creating high-value audiences and other models.
• Help coordinate and prepare for activities designed to build, test and perfect data solution.
• Apply algorithms relying on knowledge of statistical modeling to improve the performance/quality of existing products.
• Build, evaluate and optimize models.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business and insight goals.
• Collaborate with other data scientists and team leads to define requirements including data sources, patterns, and implementation.
• Work with the account team to transition development projects to production systems.
