Job summary

Truelogic, a leading nearshore staff augmentation provider headquartered in New York, seeks an experienced data engineer for a fully remote role serving U.S. clients. You will design data processing solutions using Python, Spark, and modern data stores.

You will work with streaming data, REST APIs, ETL pipelines, and BI-ready data warehouses on cloud platforms, helping transform raw data into actionable insights while collaborating with senior professionals across LATAM and the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Strong Python and data processing skills.
• Experience with relational and non-relational data stores such as HBASE, Cassandra, MongoDB; S3/blobs.
• Experience with streaming systems (Kafka/Kinesis/Flume) and messaging queues (SQS/SNS/RabbitMQ).
• ETL tooling experience (Talend/Informatica/SSIS).
• Experience with data warehouses and BI tools (Snowflake/Redshift/Hive; Looker/Power BI/Tableau)
• Cloud data platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and PaaS data services.

Responsibilities

• Develop data processing solutions using Python and Spark.
• Consume data from REST APIs and integrate diverse data sources.
• Design and work with scalable data stores (HBASE, Cassandra, MongoDB, S3).
• Build data pipelines and streaming processing (Kafka, Kinesis, Flume).
• Ensure scalable data models and high-performance data systems.
• Implement ETL pipelines using Talend, Informatica, SSIS.
