Job summary

Full Tilt Data, LLC is seeking a mid-level Data Engineer to deliver secure data solutions for a federal program using Snowflake. You will design scalable pipelines, develop canonical data models, and enable AI-assisted search and data sharing capabilities.

The role is remote, with quarterly in-person meetings. Candidates must pass a Federal Public Trust background check. Collaboration and rapid delivery are emphasized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience, including 1–2 years in Snowflake.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Snowpark (Python) for building data pipelines.
• Knowledge of dimensional data modeling (star schema, fact/dimension tables) and semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet).
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and Git-based deployment workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines in Snowflake using SQL and Snowpark (Python).
• Develop canonical data models (UDMs) including star schemas for onboarding agency datasets.
• Implement retrieval-augmented search and vector capabilities using Snowflake Cortex Search.
• Contribute to Snowflake CI/CD practices to improve deployment and testing.
