Job summary

Tror AI for everyone is seeking a Data Engineer to join a remote, long-term project. You will design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines, build data workflows with Python and PySpark, and work with Databricks, Snowflake, and PostgreSQL in cloud environments.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in CS/Engineering, strong SQL and data warehousing experience, and familiarity with Bitbucket and CI/CD. You will collaborate with data analysts and engineers to deliver scalable data solutions and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong experience in ETL development and data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Experience in data warehousing and database performance tuning; knowledge of cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Bitbucket/Git Version Control.
• Experience leveraging AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Windsurf.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL/data pipeline solutions.
• Build scalable data processing workflows with Python and PySpark; develop and optimize SQL for ETL.
• Design and maintain data warehouse architectures and data models.
• Perform performance tuning and query optimization for large datasets.
• Work with Databricks, Snowflake, and PostgreSQL environments.
• Manage source code repositories using Bitbucket and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and data analysts to deliver data solutions.
• Create technical documentation and support production deployments.
