Job summary

Gain America is seeking a Data Engineer for contract and contract-to-hire engagements with our enterprise clients across the U.S. Build the pipelines and warehouses that turn raw data into trusted, analytics-ready assets for the business.

Fully remote (U.S.-based) with a core stack including Python, SQL, Spark, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and AWS/Azure data pipelines. You will design and operate batch and streaming pipelines and collaborate with analytics and ML teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of data engineering experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Hands-on Spark, Snowflake and dbt experience.
• Experience with Airflow and cloud data platforms (AWS or Azure).

Responsibilities

• Design and operate batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Model and maintain warehouse layers in Snowflake with dbt.
• Orchestrate workflows with Airflow and monitor data quality.
• Partner with analytics and ML teams on data availability and reliability.
