Job summary

indigoChart Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines powering analytics for global clients. This remote-friendly role emphasizes hands-on coding, ownership, and delivering production-grade data solutions.

You’ll work with Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Airflow or Prefect across AWS/Azure/GCP, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust data infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer (or in a role with heavy data pipeline/SQL responsibility).
• Strong Python skills: production code, good software practices (functions, modules, testing, error handling).
• Strong SQL skills: write, debug, optimize complex queries; understand indexing and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own data pipelines across ingestion, transformation, and delivery for analytics.
• Operate production data pipelines on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and monitor reliability with orchestration tools.
• Provide technical leadership by recommending technologies and solutions; explain decisions clearly to customers.
