Job summary

VeeRteq Solutions Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer with OCI to join an Agile team and build healthcare applications while following best coding practices. This remote role requires deep expertise in data platforms and cloud-native pipelines.

Key responsibilities include developing ingestion and transformation pipelines at scale, handling EDI/HL7/FHIR formats, and implementing data governance and metadata-driven workflows using Delta Lake, Parquet, Git and CI/CD with Terraform.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, JSON, XML.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Experience building data ingestion and transformation pipelines at scale.
• Experience building metadata driven data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data lineage, auditability, and governance.
• Experience with Delta Lake, Parquet.
• Experience with DataOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform.
