Job summary

TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is seeking a Data Engineer / Migration Specialist to join our growing team. You will design and execute data migrations, build ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks using PySpark, and validate data post-load while masking sensitive information for lower environments.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in ETL or data migration, strong SQL and Python, and hands-on experience with HL7/FHIR data formats may be a plus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in ETL, data migration or database development.
• Strong SQL and Python, PySpark or Spark SQL.
• Data mapping, validation and reconciliation for migrations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run data migrations from legacy systems to modern platforms.
• Build ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks (PySpark, Spark SQL).
• Write and maintain data mapping and validation plan; reconcile data after each load.
• Mask and sanitize production data for lower environments.
• Support data extraction, analytics requests and decommissioning data archives.
