Job summary

Apollo Technology Solutions LLC is seeking a Data Engineer to join its analytics team on a remote, 1-month assignment with potential extension. You will transform complex datasets into actionable insights for state-level programs, leveraging cloud data services and scalable pipelines.

The role requires hands-on experience with AWS, SQL/NoSQL, and modern orchestration tools. You will collaborate with data scientists and policy analysts to deliver reproducible analytics and robust data

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL knowledge with relational databases and query authoring.
• Experience building big data pipelines and data sets.
• Dashboards, reports, and decision-support products for executives and non-technical users.
• Experience with student-level higher education data, linking sources to measure outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
• Design and implement cloud-based data solutions using AWS services.
• Build data orchestration workflows with Airflow or similar tools.
• Assemble large, complex data sets to meet business requirements.
