Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering experience with SQL (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, or cloud warehouses).
• Proven track record building and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines and analytics structures.
• Experience with database security: RBAC, RLS, and dynamic data masking for PII.
• Tuning complex queries for low-latency analytics; Kimball dimensional modeling and dbt semantic layers.
• Strong ownership mindset and proactive problem solving in nearshore teams.
• Advanced English fluency for daily client collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement modern semantic models for AI querying and analytics.
• Build curated, high-performance analytical views and production ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Optimize database query performance through indexing and schema tuning.
• Implement granular data governance: RBAC, RLS, and dynamic data masking.
• Establish comprehensive data quality, pipeline monitoring, and anonymization standards.
• Collaborate with AI engineering teams to align data with RAG architectures.
