Job summary

Qualifications

5+ years database management and administration experience.
1+ years experience with a federal agency or federal contractor.
3+ years Information Technology experience.

Responsibilities

Database monitoring, integration, replication, notification, analysis, tuning, problem resolution, reporting and production support.
Upgrading SQL Server versions and patching strategies with testing.
Coordinate with DBAs on operations, hardware, and security.
Create storage structures, database objects, and migration scripts.
Design efficient database architecture and maintain performance.
Optimize database performance, security, and user access.
Coordinate storage allocation and forecast space needs.
Identify long-running queries and monitor system performance.
Schedule, automate, execute, and monitor jobs.
