Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer to transform data into mission impact for the Navy’s HR data domain.

You will build, sustain, and optimize the Total Force Data Hub and related data infrastructure within Jupiter, ensuring data availability, quality, and integration across the HC/HR domain. The role requires 3+ years in data engineering, experience with Databricks, and a DoD IA certification trajectory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3+ years in data engineering or data hub development.
• Experience with data management tools and data modeling tools.
• Proficiency with Databricks and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Support the Data Architect with implementing the DON/MAHRS Data Strategy.
• Develop data hubs, pipelines, and data modeling solutions for the Total Force Data Hub.
• Engineer datasets, data intake processes, and data acquisition workflows.
• Document and maintain Databricks clusters and data architectures.
