Job summary

Bed Bath & Beyond is seeking a remote Business Intelligence Analyst to join our analytics team. You will work with data engineers and business leaders to deliver scalable BI solutions using MicroStrategy, SQL, and modern cloud data platforms.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4+ years of experience in relational databases, advanced SQL, and BI reporting. You will optimize KPIs, validate data, and provide training and documentation for end users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Data Analytics or related field.
• 4+ years with relational databases, SQL, and BI reporting.
• 4+ years building reports/dashboards in MicroStrategy.
• 4 years designing logical data models in MicroStrategy.
• 4 years optimizing complex SQL queries (window functions, CTEs, joins).
• 3 years in cloud data platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• 2 years with BigQuery or Snowflake data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data engineers to onboard data sources for reporting.
• Translate requirements from Finance, Marketing, and Product into scalable BI solutions.
• Define KPI metrics and ensure alignment across reporting layers.
• Develop, validate, and test BI reports and dashboards in MicroStrategy.
• Provide customer support for BI apps design and maintenance.
• Deliver training and documentation for end users.
