GDH seeks a Data Engineer to consolidate and maintain our data infrastructure, building scalable ETL processes and an enterprise data warehouse for reliable reporting and analytics. You will collaborate with developers and stakeholders to transform raw data into trustworthy information with strong governance.

The role emphasizes DataOps, data quality, and security, including PHI/PII handling, while supporting Azure-based platforms and modern data pipelines in a remote US setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with production ETL pipelines.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric, building Data Factory pipelines and Lakehouse/Warehouse.
• Strong SQL, Python, and PySpark for data transformation.
• Experience with Azure data stack: Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, and Data Lake.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling (star/snowflake) and semantic models for analytics.
• Experience managing data feeds, SLAs, and monitoring reliability.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and integration of Microsoft Fabric as the modern data platform.
• Design, develop, and monitor scalable ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Spark.
• Develop and maintain enterprise data warehouse architecture for reliable reporting.
• Design data models (star/snowflake) and semantic models for analytics.
• Manage data feeds with contract oversight and monitoring.
• Enforce data quality standards with validation, testing, and lineage documentation.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and compliance to protect PHI and PII data.
