Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Security Commissioning Engineer to lead testing and commissioning of data center security systems. You will work with DC operations teams off-site and on-site during critical project stages, oversee installation quality, and support clients with remote network configuration.

You will coordinate with PM/Engineers, assist sales/design with expert advice, and drive documentation, testing, and handover activities across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with data center security systems.
• Certification in Lenel, Genetec, CCURE or related systems is preferred.
• Driver’s license with clean driving record and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and support for installation teams on data center security systems.
• Coordinate commissioning activities between PM/Engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Support IT/networking issues on projects and assist service teams with service calls.
• Contribute expert advice to bid proposals and system planning.
• Ensure robust commissioning through testing, documentation and QA checks.
• Identify risks, communicate with stakeholders, and help minimize cost deviations.
