Comerit is seeking a remote Data Architect for a 3-month contract with a major Telecom Services company. The role focuses on guiding strategy while moving to Snowflake as the data warehouse and Talend for ETL, with Power BI for front-end reporting. The permanent resource will own the data architecture program.

The candidate will drive architecture design, data models, governance, and tool strategy across the BI stack, including mentoring teammates and coordinating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Snowflake and ETL tools (Informatica, Talend or Spotfire) is a plus.
• Experience with SAP is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Design the data architecture for warehousing and reporting systems.
• Research best practices in data warehousing and BI technologies.
• Drive the use of advanced tools to maximize development productivity.
• Develop and maintain an architectural vision for data warehousing and BI.
• Ensure data governance, backups, and recovery processes are in place.
• Lead data models, ETL scripts, and metadata definitions.
• Mentor team members in data requirements and data modeling.
