Job summary

Yoh is seeking a Data Analyst/Developer in Dallas, TX for a 6 month contract to hire. The role focuses on building interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Python, Azure, ADF, SQL, and Power BI to deliver actionable business insights.

Remote options exist but you must reside in Texas. You will translate requirements, design semantic data models, collaborate with data engineers and analytics teams, drive data-driven decision making, and present executive-level reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, programming, analytics or related field.
• 1+ years of Python development skills.
• 5+ years of BI analytics solutions experience.
• 5+ years with ADF, Databricks, SQL, SSRS, Power BI and related BI technologies.
• Experience driving analytics-enabled business process improvements.
• Experience leading small project teams or workstreams.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data environments.
• Proven ability to analyze complex cross-functional business problems and deliver solutions.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying analytics and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations communicating business insights.
• Translate requirements and analytical findings into clear visual representations.
• Develop semantic data models and data access solutions for analytics and reporting.
• Ensure visualization solutions meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Leverage BI platforms to deliver scalable reporting solutions.
• Create executive-level reporting materials as needed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
• Drive data-driven decision making and analytics-enabled improvements.
• Partner with Data Engineers and Analytics Teams to define sourcing and transformation needs.
• Participate in POC initiatives and evaluate visualization tools.
• Evaluate emerging visualization tools and best practices.
