Placements24 is seeking a talented Data Analyst for a fully remote role focused on transforming complex datasets into actionable insights. You will collect, clean, and analyze data, build dashboards with Tableau/Power BI, and present findings to stakeholders across functions.

You’ll work with Python or R as needed, collaborate with global teams, and contribute to data-driven decision making in a remote-first environment.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role involving data analysis and BI.
Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex findings to non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a fully remote environment.
Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R is a significant advantage.
This role is fully remote, but experience or understanding of business environments in regions like Upington, Northern Cape can be beneficial.

Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources.
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and KPIs.
Develop and implement dashboards and reports using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
Translate data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.

Perform ad-hoc data analysis as required to address business questions.
