Job summary

RevStar is hiring a Data & AI Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to operate at the intersection of enterprise cloud architecture and client delivery. You will architect secure, scalable AWS solutions, lead strategic engagements with CIOs/CTOs, and drive GenAI workloads using Bedrock and SageMaker.

The role emphasizes hands‑on cloud modernization, migrations, and crafting reusable IaC modules. Remote‑first environment with health coverage and 401(k) options for a diverse client portfolio.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands‑on experience in Cloud Architecture, DevOps/SRE, or Software Engineering with a focus on AWS.
• 3+ years in a client‑facing consulting, Solutions Architecture, or Forward Deployed Engineering role.
• Deep AWS Core Expertise: IAM, VPC, EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, Route 53.
• IaC & CI/CD: Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation with automated CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).
• AWS GenAI & Data Services: Bedrock, SageMaker, Glue, Redshift, or OpenSearch experience.
• AWS Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional and/or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional required; specialty certs are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy secure, scalable AWS architectures using IaC and modern microservices/serverless patterns.
• Lead enterprise client engagements and translate business goals into AWS solutions.
• Drive large‑scale migrations and modernization of legacy apps to cloud native architectures.
• Architect and deploy GenAI and ML workloads using Bedrock, SageMaker, and OpenSearch.
• Collaborate with RevStar account leadership to identify high‑value workloads and drive AWS adoption.
• Mentor engineers, build reusable Terraform modules, and promote cloud delivery best practices.
