Job summary

Motorola Solutions invites software engineering interns to work on cybersecurity services and scalable cloud infrastructure. You will learn through mentors, rotate across groups, and contribute to event-driven microservices in an AWS environment. Projects include data ingestion, anomaly detection, and web UI work.

Interns will prototype, design, and implement solutions in teams, with exposure to modern tools and market-leading technologies, and present a final project at the internship end.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python, JavaScript and Git in projects or coursework.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and debugging.
• Basic knowledge of container services like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration abilities.
• Good interpersonal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain backend microservices deployed with AWS Lambda/Fargate using Python.
• Collaborate with architecture to design/build new microservices for strategic initiatives.
• Maintain or build web UI features using React, JavaScript and Python.
• Contribute to a fast-paced team and participate in project rotations.
