Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Cyber Engineer Architect – SIEM Security Architect to advance security across national objectives. You will deploy and integrate Splunk, SIEM, EDR, and ticketing tools while coordinating with cross‑functional teams to strengthen protective controls.

You will work remotely, leveraging cutting-edge visibility and threat-management tools, and mentor junior staff within a mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience deploying and architecting cybersecurity solutions (SIEM/IDS/IPS).
• 5+ years deploying and architecting Splunk in distributed environments.
• Experience with risk mitigation and compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy cybersecurity solutions focusing on SIEM, IDS/IPS, web filtering, network forensics, and firewall management.
• Lead Splunk integrations including SOAR with tools like Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, and ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce security controls aligned with NIST and FedRAMP.
