Conduent is seeking a Remote - Call Center Customer Service Representative to support Medicaid Member Services for the State of Iowa. This role requires residency in Iowa and will serve as the first point of contact for applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees by phone.

The position offers paid training, equipment provided, and a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) with benefits. Training starts January 25th, 2027, with shifts Monday through Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Qualifications

About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative supporting the Iowa Medicaid Program, you will serve as an initial point of contact for potential and existing program recipients and affiliates.

In this role, you will:

• Provide one-on-one telephone assistance to applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees.
• Accurately document enrollment requests and status changes.
• Enter application and enrollment information into a web-based system for customers applying for the program by telephone.
• Maintain knowledge of Iowa Family Care rules, guidelines, and related program policies.
• Provide clear, complete, accurate, and objective information based on program requirements.
• Deliver professional and empathetic customer service while helping individuals navigate program information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic understanding of a call center or customer service environment and quality monitoring processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to achieve results through knowledge, empathy, and commitment.
• Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to successfully complete the required background process.

Equipment

Equipment is provided. Candidates must be able to pick up their equipment from our Des Moines, Iowa office on their scheduled start date.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated hourly rate for this role is $18.00 per hour.
