Job summary

Destination Careers is seeking a detail-oriented Cruise Reservation Specialist to support clients in selecting, booking, and managing cruise vacations. This remote role requires excellent communication, sales skills, and strong organizational abilities to deliver seamless experiences.

You will advise on itineraries, ship amenities, and travel requirements, process bookings and payments, upsell additional services, and maintain relationships with clients through proactive follow-ups.

Qualifications

Experience in travel sales, reservations, or customer service.
Knowledge of cruise lines, destinations, and industry trends.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple bookings efficiently.
Sales-oriented mindset with a passion for helping clients plan vacations.
Proficiency with booking systems, CRM software, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with cruise inquiries, reservations, and modifications via phone, email, and online platforms.
Provide guidance on cruise destinations, itineraries, ship amenities, and travel requirements.
Process bookings and payments with accuracy and compliance.
Maintain relationships with clients through personalized service and follow-ups.
Stay updated on cruise line promotions, policies, and travel regulations.
Collaborate with cruise partners to secure the best deals and exclusive perks.
Address client concerns and troubleshoot booking issues professionally.
Upsell and cross-sell travel services such as excursions and travel insurance.
